NeoSculpt is a two-device energy-based platform developed and made in South Korea by a practicing dermatologist and supplied in Thailand through Kaihan Therapeutics. It is positioned around a new category called Derma-Fat Regeneration (DFR): rebuilding the derma-fat layer rather than only tightening it.

The Two Devices
Device Role Specs
NeoSculpt Plus Derma-Fat Regeneration (DFR) 1 to 2 MHz, 43 to 45°C sustained, 30 mm depth. Reaches the derma-fat junction (Mendelson Layer 2), about 12× deeper than conventional monopolar RF (2.5 mm).
NeoSculpt Flex Muscle layer restoration EMS 8 channel + ICT 4 channel, face and body, about 600 cm² coverage, roughly 4× broader than emSculpt/CoolTone.

Together, dermis, fat pad and muscle are addressed in one protocol: Plus rebuilds the foundation, Flex restores the muscle layer beneath it.

Certifications
  • KFDA certified (both devices).
  • US FDA 510(k) cleared (NeoSculpt Plus).
  • Korea GMP manufactured.
  • Patented Korean sustained sub-thermal monopolar RF technology.
How It Works

Conventional monopolar RF heats to 60 to 70°C, denaturing collagen to tighten tissue (coagulation, scar response). NeoSculpt Plus sustains 43 to 45°C, below the coagulation threshold, to trigger a regenerative cascade instead: apoptosis of aged adipocytes, CD-68+ macrophage clearance, fibroblast and ADSC reactivation, then new collagen and adipocyte regeneration. Published studies cite four published mechanistic pathways (thermal biology and HSP activation, p38 MAPK, TRPV1 activation, MSC/ADSC activation).

The dWAT (dermal white adipose tissue) regeneration cycle described in the published data runs in three stages over about 12 weeks: lipolysis (weeks 0 to 4), dedifferentiation (weeks 4 to 8), redifferentiation into new, healthy fat tissue (weeks 8 to 12+).

Clinical Evidence
  • SNUBH study (n=20, 6-month prospective, IRB-approved, registered on ClinicalTrials.gov): significant improvement in jawline length, midface width and lower face width (all p<0.001); average GAIS 2.67; patient satisfaction 8.75/10; pain 3.25/10 with no anesthesia; no serious adverse events.
  • Dong-A University Hospital study (n=27, 9-month prospective, independent second cohort): consistent results, same average GAIS and pain scores, effect maintained at 9 months.
  • Porcine in-vivo histology (Koo D-W et al., In Vivo 2024): −25% adipocyte size, +2.5× dermal collagen content, confirmed by Perilipin/CD-68 immunohistochemistry.
Protocol

The standard combination (the “Neo & Wegovy Program”, in clinical use in Korea since 2024) is a 4-week cycle: NeoSculpt Plus ×1 + NeoSculpt Flex ×3. A Plus session is a quick in-office procedure (under 10 minutes, 6 to 12 shots, no anesthesia needed, pain typically mild).

  • GLP-1 combination: for patients on weekly Wegovy or Mounjaro. GLP-1 drives systemic fat loss (including facial volume and muscle), Plus regenerates the derma-fat layer to prevent hollowing and sagging, Flex rebuilds the muscle GLP-1 takes away (about 25% of total weight loss can be muscle).
  • Botox combination: for long-term toxin patients whose muscle layer has atrophied and whose face has started to sag. Botox continues managing the muscle as before, Plus rebuilds the derma-fat foundation underneath without altering the toxin protocol.
